He’s also published stories in Alfred Hitchcock and Ellery Queen mystery magazines, and is the author of the Bartender Brian McNulty mystery series. He holds an MFA in fiction writing from Columbia University School of the Arts and teaches fiction writing and mystery and suspense writing at The Writer’s Center in Bethesda.
