Susanna Kearsley, Anna Lee Huber, C.S. Harris, and Christine Trent joined our bookshop for a virtual event talking about their book.

On February 28th, we were delighted to host a zoom event with the authors of the anthology The Deadly Hours. Each of the authors wrote a section of the story in a different time period of history, weaving together all the stories through the main object of a cursed pocket watch. Susanna Kearsley


New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Susanna Kearsley is a former museum curator who loves restoring the lost voices of real people to the page, interweaving romance and historical intrigue with modern adventure. Her award-winning books are published in translation in more than 25 countries. She lives east of Toronto, on the shores of Lake Ontario in Canada.





Anna Lee Huber


Anna Lee Huber is the Daphne award-winning author of the national bestselling Lady Darby Mysteries, the Verity Kent Mysteries, and the Gothic Myths series, as well as the anthology The Deadly Hours. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she majored in music and minored in psychology. She currently resides in Indiana with her family and is hard at work on her next novel.





C.S. Harris


C. S. Harris is the USA Today bestselling author of more than two dozen novels, including the Sebastian St. Cyr historical mystery series; as C. S. Graham, a thriller series co-authored with former intelligence officer Steven Harris; and seven award-winning historical romances written under the name Candice Proctor. A respected scholar with a PhD in 19th-century European history, she has spent much of her life abroad and now lives in New Orleans.




Christine Trent


Christine Trent is the author of the Daphne Award finalist the Lady of Ashes historical mystery series as well as the Florence Nightingale Mysteries and three other historical novels. Her most recent book, The Deadly Hours, is a four-part historical mystery novel written with Susanna Kearsley, C.S. Harris, and Anna Lee Huber. Christine manages to write books with at least one of her cats walking relentlessly across the keyboard, demanding food and attention.
