How to search for a book

There are several ways to search our site for mysteries. Go to the Search page and click in one following boxes:

Title
Author
Categories:

• Large Print
• Reference, Games
• Sherlockian
• Anthology/Short Stories
• 1st in a Series
• True Crime/Non-Fiction
• Gay/Lesbian
• Signed Edition
• Golden Age/Classics
• Award Winners

By Keyword:
Click into the Description box and type a location, food, hobby, etc. and click search. For example, type New York into the description field, and many of the books that take place in New York will come up. We are still in the process of adding descriptions. So please contact us if you can't find what you're looking for.

Another way to search for a particular series is by title. We attempted to add the series name and number to each book that is part of a series. For example, if you type 'Martha's Vineyard Mystery' into the title field, all of Philip Craig's books will appear, along with the where it falls in the series.

If you can't find a book you're looking for, it is possible that it isn't in print, it's temporarily out of stock, or there's a typo in the title, author, etc. Please use the "Comments/Questions" box to inquire about the availability of titles you can't find on our site.
