Due to Marc Cerasini (half of the writing duo of Cleo Coyle) needing major surgery and recovery time, we have postponed this event until next year.

Our prayers and good wishes are extended to these really wonderful folks.

We will have The Ghost and the Bogus Bookseller - Haunted Bookshop 6 by Cleo at the shop on or before September 29. Stop in an pick up your copy of this delightful series. If you missed the first one, we have that available, too. It’s The Ghost and Mrs. McClure - Haunted Bookshop 1.

Fans have been waiting for the next Haunted Bookshop Mystery for eight years. The last one in the series came out in 2009. We are excited to let her fans know that the next book in the series will be released October 2 and we are one of the only bookshops that will have Alice here for a signing. Since Alice Kimberly is also Cleo Coyle, we’ll have the Coffeehouse mystery series available as well as the Haunted Bookshop series.

Maybe Jack Shepherd will even make an appearance!

For those who aren’t familiar with Alice Kimberly and Cleo Coyle, they are the husband and wife writing team of Alice Alfonsi and Marc Cerasini. They were born and raised in Pittsburgh, met in New York City, and married in Las Vegas. Together they've authored a number of bestselling books.

Under their own names they authored 24: The House Special Subcommittee Investigation of CTU, based on the Emmy Award-winning Fox television show 24. Separately, Mr. Cerasini, who has ghostwritten for Tom Clancy, has authored over thirty books for adults and children, including the New York Times bestseller O.J. Simpson: American Hero, American Tragedy, the original novel Wolverine: Weapon X for Marvel Press, and novelizations based on the films Cinderella Man and AVP: Alien Vs. Predator. Ms. Alfonsi, a book editor and former newspaper reporter, has written a number of original and media tie-in novels, including the New York Times bestseller Hidden Passions: Secrets from the Diaries of Tabitha Lenox, an original novel based on the offbeat daytime drama Passions

The weather is a pleasant 60 degrees as the sun will be shining all of next week and the humidity will be constant around 40% as some storms will keep to the south of the state.

As the wind will be breezy with barely higher than 10 mph, we can expect that many people will be outside doing lawn work and getting a tan. Please remember to put sunscreen on before going outside.

As the air will be okay for allergy sufferers, there will most likely be joggers and runners outside more this week. Please keep that in mind while traveling to work and for different errands throughout the week.

People are more likely to get sun burnt between two and five in the afternoon due to the most sun concentration that the day offers.

Lemonade and water are good for hydration and it is important to keep that in mind.

Sports this week offers some good match-ups between rivals in baseball and football.

In wrestling, there was an upset when Carl Bruster overtook the favorite to win the light weight championship last night. The books lost a fortune and the only one that seemed to profit big was the wrestler himself. Bidding on himself has proven quite successful for the upstart.

Fashion is another matter on its own as the celebrities rolled out for the red
