Discounts
We do not charge membership fees to qualify our customers to receive a discount. All new books are discounted 10% off the cover price. From time to time we run specials on books or authors that we want to highlight. And, if your book order totals $25 or more, shipping and handling is free of charge. (Please note: used and rare books are not discounted.) We will calculate the final amount due, minus any discount and free shipping before we charge your credit card. If you are mailing your payment to us, we will email the total amount due. Sales tax of 6% will be charged on all orders destined for Pennsylvania.

Frequent Buyer Program - New Books
We also have a frequent buyer reward system that will give an extra discount for regular buyers. For every 25 new books a customer purchases, the 26th new book will receive a 30% discount. Customers must purchase 25 new or used books before they may redeem the discount. You don’t have to purchase 25 books all in one order. We will keep track of your orders and when you have reached 25 books, we will let you know that your next book is discounted 30%.

Frequent Buyer Program - Used Books
For every 50 used books a customer purchases, the 51st book will receive a 30% discount. Again, you don't have to purchase all 50 books in the same order. We will keep track of your orders and when you have reached 50 books, we will let you know that your next book is discounted 30%.

1. Membership is Free
2. Receive advance notice of future books in the Bear Collectors’ Mystery Series (and other books by John J. Lamb).
3. Your books will be signed by John J. Lamb.
4. Buy the 1st book in this series from us and your name will be entered to win a free, signed copy of the 2nd book in the series “The False-Hearted Teddy.”
5. Buy the 1st and 2nd book in the series from us, and your name will be entered twice to win the 3rd book in the series, signed and sent to you postage free.
6. New benefits and surprise “treats” will be added each year.
7. Buy the 1st, 2nd book and 3rd book in the series from us, and your name will be entered 3 times to win the 4th book in the series, signed and sent to you postage free.
8. Receive 10% off each book.

A Record of Books/Items Purchased
We maintain a record of all of your purchases. If you ever need a listing of the books (or other merchandise) you purchased for any reason, just let us know and we'll email a pdf of your purchases to you.

Want to make sure you get the next new book by your favorite author(s)? Give us a list of those authors and we’ll be sure to save the book for you as soon as it arrives here at the shop. We do ask that you purchase those books we’ve held for you. Please be sure to specify whether you want hardcover, trade paperback or mass market paperback. The paperback edition of a book usually comes out somewhere between 6 and 12 months after the Hardback. Just go to the "Comments/Questions" box and enter the authors and the type of binding you want (hardcover, trade or mass market paperback).
